seriously romanitc: wait with me by amy daws (the audiobook version read by erin mallon and teddy hamilton)

erin mallon and teddy hamilton bring the hilarious, sexy, sweet workplace-ish romantic comedy wait with me to life with their wonderfully expressive voices.

one of the things that makes daws such a fun read is her sense of the absurd. this story is based on her real life experiences of sneaking into a tire center to enjoy free wi-fi and coffee while curing her writer's block, and the premise for the character's meet-cute follows suit. the voice actors do an admirable job of keeping the fun, light-hearted feel even during the characters darkest moments.

they bring the dual-pov story to life in a way that captures the spirit of kate and miles and makes them feel real. i've enjoyed the duet style narration of the harris brothers books, and was slightly disappointed this didn't follow suit, but at the same time, the narrators' voices were perfect for the characters and i don't actually have any complaints.

basically, this is exactly what you want in an audiobook listen.

The audiobook we’ve all been waiting for is here! The Queen of rom-com, Erin Mallon, and the King of laid back, sexy heroes, Teddy Hamilton, have narrated this buzzworthy tire shop love story straight into our hearts.

From Buzzfeed to Babble to Scary Mommy and even network television—the social media viral story is LIVE on audio!

The story of romance writer Amy Daws’ relationship with a little tire shop in South Dakota is a refreshingly fun tale that ends in an auto shop romantic comedy that you have to hear!
Daws cast a dream team of narrators for this dirty hot love story that takes place in Boulder, Colorado. Narrated in dual points of view, hear Tire Depot come to life with these sweet soundwaves.

When romance novelist Kate Smith suddenly gets writer’s block as she's beginning the final installment of her international bestselling erotic Bed ‘n Breakfast series, she'll do pretty much anything to get her groove back.

Like sneak into a Tire Depot waiting room because her words flow there just like complimentary coffee—smooth, sweet, and scorchingly hot.

She manages to fly under the radar until the rugged and charming mechanic, Miles Hudson, notices the quirky redhead slinking in and out of the employees only entrance.

But she's way too intriguing to blow the whistle on.

Doing a test-drive of her new book idea sounds like a much better option.

simply catching up on all things general hospital

hmmm, it's been months since i've blogged about gh . partly this is due to the fact that i fell behind while i was traveling. partly because all the outrage lapsed into disinterest when i realized i couldn't bring myself to care anymore and everything that was happening was just so trite and boring. some days i still feel that way. and there are still whole storylines that i either hate or just fast forward through. but there are some good things too. in no particular order, here are my thoughts on the goings-on in port charles: 1. soras [and why re-casting roles works on soaps even if you do miss the original actors]: the new, older versions of sonny's kids are turning out to be quite enjoyable. [although hilariously, cameron whom i believe is older than molly is now younger. and because cameron is so cute, i'm kind of hoping they won't fix that. we also haven't seen spencer in ages, so he may be approaching 50.] in any case, at this point we've only s

genre debate: urban fantasy versus epic fantasy: team epic gets their say

Team Epic: Why I Love Epic Fantasy! Since it's my blog, I'll go first: Epic fantasies take you on quests that take you beyond the limits of what is real. The rules can be different, they are different, and everything just matters more. It's not just one life at stake, it's lives, it's a whole world, a whole way of being. Epic fantasies force you to use your imagination and take you on an adventure to places you never thought possible, but as different as everything feels, there are still things that are always real, no matter how you write it. Keep reading to see what a handful of Entangled TEEN authors think about epic fantasies: Erica Cameron - Island of Exiles (The Ryogan Chronicles, #1): Why do I love epic fantasy? It's a blank slate. We can erase all of our preconceived notions of society and law and even science, throwing all of that over the side of a cliff. Epic fantasy lets us push humanity well past the breaking point with ever
